Step 1: Go to Settings>Partner/Customer > Click on "Configuration".
Step 2: Enable AutoGenerate Customer No. Functionality
Step 3: Check how many Characters are required to Auto generate next sequential Customer code. (4 to 9) is the Character limit.
Step 4: Check "Code Starting number". Example: 0001
Step 5: Follow the same step procedure for Partner Code
