This article provides information about how to add an external document from the Documents tab.

Overview
The Documents tab in the Shipment screen allows an authorized user to add the external documents belonging to various categories. The functionality gives you flexibility to upload documents with size up to 20MB and the supports multiple document formats such as, .pdf, .jpeg, .doc, and .docx. The added documents are used as reference for a shipment order.
The following actions can be performed from the Documents tab:
- Publish PDF documents
- Download all documents
- Email document link
- Share documents or Invite users to access the documents
Procedure
- On the Shipment menu, click Complete Documentation.
It opens the Shipment screen showing the list of shipment orders based on the selected layout. - Click the Edit button of a shipment order to which you want to add an external document.
It opens the shipment order in editable mode. - Select the Documents tab.
The Documents tab shows the list of uploaded documents if there are any. - Click the Choose Files from My Computer button and select the file to add in the Documents tab.
Alternatively, you can also drag the relevant file in the highlighted area to add in the Documents tab.
A confirmation message is displayed. - Click OK.
- Click the Save button.
A success message is displayed. - Click the Exit button.
The user is redirected to the Shipment screen.
Result
The documents are added and the list is updated in the Documents tab.
