You have the option of Autogenerate a number for your next sales order.
Steps
Go to Setting
Go to Sales and then configuration
Once you click in configuration the below screen will appear, select the tab "Sale Order No" select you Prefix, Suffix, Characters and you start sales order number, in case you are already using a correlative number, and save the changes.
