You have the option of Autogenerate a number for your next request for quote.
Steps
Go to Setting
Go to Purchase and then configuration
Once you click in configuration the below screen will appear, select the tab "RFQ No" click in Auto Generate Quote No, select your Prefix, Suffix, Characters and you start Request for quote number in case you are already using a correlative number and save changes.
