This article provides information about how to edit an external document from the Documents tab.

Overview
The Shipment screen allows an authorized user to edit the name and category of an external document available in the Documents tab.
Procedure
- On the Shipment menu, click Complete Documentation.
It opens the Shipment screen showing the list of shipment orders based on the selected layout. - Click the Edit button of a shipment order to which you want to add an external document.
It opens the shipment order in editable mode. - Select the Documents tab.
The Documents tab shows the list of uploaded documents under Other External Documents. - Click the Edit button given for the document which you want to edit.
The Edit dialog box is displayed. - Edit the document name as required.
- Click the Ellipses button, select the Look up option.
It opens the Document category list dialog box. - Double-click to select an appropriate document category from the list.
The category is selected for the document and the field is updated. - Click the Update button.
The changes are updated for the document under Other External Documents. - Click the Save button.
A success message is displayed. - Click the Exit button.
The user is redirected to the Shipment screen.
Result
The documents are added and the list is updated in the Documents tab.
