How to Create Custom Layout Listing Views

What are SO/PO/Shipment/Booking/RFP Lists?

 

Within the SO/PO/SHIPMENT/BOOKING/RFP module, an option is available for Users to create Company or Individual Custom Layout. 

 

The benefit of using these lists will provide enhanced visibility for Users to assist in managing key tasks for executing your shipping requirements.  

 

These lists can be designed in such a way as to provide workflow management and exception based views of key shipping  information. 

 

Setting up your custom layout shipment lists will provide business visibility to various elements of shipping detail and identify tasks that require prompt attention.

 

 

How to Access the New Layouts?

 Firstly, the New SO/PO/Shipment/Booking/RFP layouts need to be enabled in your ImpexDocs Application against respective modules. 

 

For this to be enabled, please contact the ImpexDocs support team at support@impexdocs.com.au

 

Once Enabled, you will be able to access the new feature. 


Click on the Module highlighted below to identify which listing view you require access to. 




For example, if Shipment Listing is required then follow the below steps and similar steps to be taken forward for the respective modules.

 

Shipment Lists,  Select Shipment Module > Complete Documentation > Detail Shipment Tab

How to Create Custom Layout Shipments Lists? 

 

The New Shipments Lists will display System Default Layout views. 

 

Some examples of default layouts include,

  1. All Shipments
  2. Open Shipments
  3. Missing Booking No.
  4. ETD within 30 Days

 

To create your own Company Wide or Individual Layouts. 

 

Step 1.  - Start with using an existing Default List View to create a Custom Layout.  

 

Example Default System Views below. 

 

 

 


 

Step 2.  - Click on the selected Default List view and then select the Green + Button to open up the Custom Layout screen,

Step 3 - Create a Name for your new layout. 

 

At the bottom of the layout settings, enter a list layout name. 

 

You can set this layout list as your default list view which will mean that list will open up in your listing landing page. 

 

You can select a Company-Wide view or select as only to your login. 

 

Select Save Layout.

Step 4 - Set Up Columns in your Lists. 

 


 The shipment lists come with a standard set of Data Fields Columns that are available to add to your list views. 


 

Using the left side menu, drag your cursor and drop selected column fields into the right side menu. Alternatively, use the + button which will allocated to the right-side menu. 

 

 

 

To sort the order of columns in the new list,  drag your cursor up or down and place it in sequence as per your preference. 

 


Select which column you would like shipment list detail to be sorted.  For example as per the below screenshot,

Step 5.  Applying Filters to your Custom Layouts. 

 

You can set up your listings with filters so you only view shipment information that is relevant to the list created.

 

To add filters, within the layout settings click on the filter type and add conditions by selecting the green + button.

Ensure you Save your Filters before exiting the List

Searching Shipment Information within Shipments Lists

 

Users can search for shipment information within the selected column of a shipment list.  

 

Find the column to search information and select the search button. 

 

Options will appear to search information several options as displayed below screen shot.

 

Multi Sorting within Shipments Lists

 

Users can multi-sort information up to 5 columns.

 

Find the column to search for information and select the shift key. Repeat for other columns. 

 

The sorting is in order of the first column, then 2nd, 3rd, etc..

 

 

Adding Lists to Folders

 

Several options are available to add your lists to Folders to assist with easier visibility. 

 

Adding Lists to Favourites

 

Select List and drag with Mouse from Custom Layout into the Favourites Folder Box.

Adding Lists to Archive List

 

Select List and drag with Mouse from Custom Layout into the Archive Folder Box.
