This article contains information about creating a sales order by copying an existing sales or purchase order using three different methods. Read the Info section carefully to understand two additional methods for copying a sales or purchase order.

Procedure
- In the menu bar, Click Sales.
It opens the Sales screen. - Click the Sales button located at the top-right of the screen.
It opens the Add New Sales Order dialog box. - In the Sales tab, select Copy.
This tab has From section, which has Sales and Purchase buttons. By default, the Sales button is selected and it displays From and To fields to capture the details.
Similarly, select the Purchase button to create a sales order from previous purchase order. - In the From field, click the Ellipses icon.
It opens the Sales dialog box. - Double-click to select a previous sales order from the list.
- In the To field, enter a value for the new sales order.
- Click Copy.
It opens a new sales order form containing all data copied from the selected sales order. - Add or modify the required details in the Details, Product, Terms & Condition, External Docs, and Costing tabs.
- Click Save.
A success message is displayed. - Click Exit.
It redirects to the Sales screen and displays the newly created sales order in the list.
You can also copy a sales or purchase order from the Sales screen by clicking the Copy icon given under the Action column. Use any of the following two methods: Method 1 1. Click the Copy icon and select Copy. 2. Perform all steps mention above after step 2. Method 2 1. Click the Copy icon and select Bulk Copy. 2. In the Bulk Copy dialog box, select the Number of Orders from the list. 3. Click Copy. 4. Fill in the Shipment Period, Contract Start Date, and Contract End Date. The Order Name field is auto filled which can be modified if required. Number of rows may vary depending on the selected Number of Orders. 5. Click Create. The sales or purchase order is created and listed on the Sales screen.
