Working with the Summary Tab

This article provides information about the Summary tab and its key functionalities.

Overview


The Shipment screen allows an authorized user to add or edit shipment order summary quicker than never before. It's easy and enhanced UI let the user view some important fields by clicking the Plus (+)/ Expand button and update them as required.


Once the data is update in the Summary tab, it automatically saved in the appropriate fields in the Detail tab as well. At any point of time while updating details in the Summary tab, click the Edit button given next to the Collapse button in the expanded view to open the complete shipment order in the editable mode.


The first row in the expanded view shows all fields with an indicator. The empty fields are indicated in the RED circle and the fields with valid data are shown in the GREEN circle.



Procedure


  1. On the Shipment menu, click Complete Documentation.
    It opens the Shipment screen showing the list of all shipment orders in the default tab based on the selected layout.
  2. Select the Summary tab.
    Skip this step if the Summary tab is selected by default.
  3. Click the Plus (+) button.
    It shows the summary of the selected shipment order in editable mode.
  4. Add or edit the order summary as required.
    Click the Edit button in case you need to open the complete shipment order in editable mode. 
  5. Click the Update button.
    The order summary is updated and the view is collapsed.


Result


The shipment order summary is saved and the list is updated in the Shipment screen.
