Create a New Report

This article provides information about how to create a new report and add filter criteria.

Overview


The All tab in Reports screen allows an authorized user to create a new report.  Once a report is created, it is listed in the All tab under a specified category from where it can be viewed, modified, or deleted.


Procedure


  1. On the menu bar, click Reports.
    It opens the Reports screen containing All, Favourite, Customer/Partner, and Schedule & Subscribers tabs.
  2. In the All tab, click Create Report.
    The New Report screen is displayed.
  3. In the New Report screen, select the Type of Report, and fill in the filter details such as filter name, filter condition, and value.
  4. After adding one filter criteria, it provides the following options:
    • Add multiple filters.
      1. Click Plus (+) to add more filters.
      2. Select a Filter Name, Filter Condition, and Value
    • Set the logical conditions for each filter.
      Under Filter Number, click AND to set OR condition and click again to change it back to AND.
  5. Select an option from the Sort By list if required and then select the Ascending or Descending option to be applied to the selected sorting criteria. 
  6. Under Available Columns, select a column name and click Add.  
    If any specific column is not required then select it under Selected Columns and click the Remove button. Once removed, the column(s) are displayed under Available Columns.

    Press Ctrl+[Column Name] to select multiple columns and press Shift+[Column Name] to select all columns that fall between the first selection and last selection.
  7. Under Selected Columns, select one or more columns and click the Up or Down arrow to reorder them.
  8. Click Save As Custom Report.


In case of two or more filters, click Minus (-) to delete the next filter and resets the filter criteria if there is only one filter. 


Result


The new report is saved which can be scheduled to run at a specified time from the Schedule tab.
