Working with Customer Reports

This article provides information about how to download, edit, delete, and create a schedule for customer report.

Overview


The Customer/Partner tab in the Reports screen allows an authorized user to perform the following actions with a existing customer report:

  • Schedule a customer/partner report
    The procedure to schedule a customer or partner report is similar to scheduling a standard or custom report. You need to click the Plus (+) icon also known as the Create Schedule button given for each report in the list.
    For other reports, you can click the Plus (+) icon to schedule a report or go to the Schedule & Subscribers tab and click the Create Schedule button.

  • Download a customer/partner report
    This feature allows a user to download a customer or partner report to the system by clicking the Download button.
  • Edit a customer/partner report
    This feature allows a user to edit a customer or partner report and change the criteria. 
  • Delete a customer/partner report
    This feature allows a user to delete a customer or partner report which is no longer required.


Procedure


Edit a Customer/Partner Report

  1. On the menu bar, click Reports.
    It opens the Reports screen containing four tabs: All, Favourite, Customer/Partner, and Schedule & Subscribers.
  2. Select the Customer/Partner tab.
    It opens the Customer/Partner tab showing the list of existing reports.
  3. Click the Edit (pencil) icon.
    It opens the Update Customer Report dialog box.
  4. Change the duration from the list as required.
  5. Click Save.
    The updated customer/partner report is saved and shown in the list.

The Edit functionality allows to change only duration of report which automatically updates the date range field. Other fields such as Report Type, Select Customer, and Report Name fields are not editable.

Download a Customer/Partner Report

  1. On the menu bar, click Reports.
    It opens the Reports screen containing four tabs: All, Favourite, Customer/Partner, and Schedule & Subscribers.
  2. Select the Customer/Partner tab.
    It opens the Customer/Partner tab showing the list of existing reports.
  3. Click the Download button.
    The report is downloaded to the system.


Delete a Customer/Partner Report

  1. On the menu bar, click Reports.
    It opens the Reports screen containing four tabs: All, Favourite, Customer/Partner, and Schedule & Subscribers.
  2. Select the Customer/Partner tab.
    It opens the Customer/Partner tab showing the list of existing reports.
  3. Click the Delete button.
    The report is deleted from the list.
